5 things to help the environment
Out of the hundreds of ideas to go green i have found five that are easy and interesting to do. The first thing is planting trees or other plants, Its a fun activity to share with some one else and comes with the satisfaction of a hard days work. The second thing is recycling. Recycling save the earths resources and reduces the amount of trash on the streets. The third idea is transportation without a gas powered automobile. Using less gass would greatly increase the Ozone. The fourth idea is saving food scraps like banana peels and such so that they can be turn into fertilizer for plants. Finally the fifth idea is to stop dumping trash is our rivers. We mildly hurt the ecosystem when the tiniest piece of trash is thrown in. These are my five ways to go green.

Bannaing Political Apps
I feel that is extremely unfair and against the first amendment to take away an app that expands tha capabilities of freedom of speech. Politicians are so scared of new ways for people to talk about them but they dont realize how much people will talk regardless.

earth day
I feel that as the future care takers of this earth it is our job to begin participating in earth day because if we do not start now we will be so lazy in the future and then who will take care ofour planet. I feel that we must do our part in earth day and go green !

Man Dies on Bus
This is disgraceful. If a man is dead you don't know what he died from so get him off instead of posing a risk to the other passengers. the person who told the driver to ignore it is a complete moron and should be fired.

Be the change you wish to see in the world
I wish to see a world of no corruption or oppression. A world where I can walk out my door and not have to remember there is a chance i won't come home. I wish to see a world without war, violence , and hunger. I wish to see a world where there is not a spec of inequity. I wish to see a world where i could simply love and never hate. The world has everything but these things listed and unfortunately they arent happening yet.

Tolerance
My definition of tolerance is not how much you can put up with but how much you are willing to put up with. People are tolerant of everything but eventually tolerance fades and when it does people get crazy or stupid so i think tolerance the true definition of tolerance is how much people will pretend not to be bothered by something or someone.
My definition of Tolerance
There has been much controversy over health care reform and universal health care but the problem is that the people of this nation want things to quickly and are extremely impatient. I can't stand the fact that just because someone can't get six million things done immedietly doesn't make them a bad leader it just the simple matter that things take time. People should stop complaining that nothing is happening because its not being a patriot its being a big baby. What's gonna happen happen when those complainers out there start crying about tummy pains? I'd wager they wouldn't complain when universal health care pays to have it fixed. I must say that tolerance wears thin with everyone and I am beginning to lose mine.

Langston Hughes
1. He is writing the for those people who are oppressed and persecuted.
2.It was never america to him because African Americans like himself were highly persecuted at the time for being black.
3.It contributed because he used the emotions drawn up by past experiences fueled his writing in the poem to make it deep.
4. Race is no longer an issue for people anymore and now african americans have just as much opportunity as whites.
5.Corrupt politics, War, and remnants of racial persecution.
6.Civil Rights, all races live in harmony, and equal opportunity.
7.It makes me feel proud to see that America has made strides to change.

Haiti Earthquake
The earth quakes in haiti have devastated people in certain areas. The tragedy has taken tolls from loss of houses to loss of limb and family. It is heartbreaking to watch the people of Haiti suffer from something that not one person in the world can control and can only say that I feel heart-felt sorrow for those in Haiti that have also lost friends and family. It is good to see nations coming to the aid of other countries that could use our help and show that working together to help save lives and also give people i Haiti their lives back.

Poem Essay/The Raven
The Raven
Even though this poem is a very common work of Edgar Allen Poe, I feel that his writing in this poem is extremely creative and gives very vivid details, mental images, and ideas while reading this poem. His work never ceases to astound me. Poe’s use of his own misery and insanity to write this poem surely made this poem meet all of the literary standpoints. This poem is a fairly excellent poem because of its use of sound, image, and perspective.
In the poem the poem he uses a lot of rhythm, rhyme, and alliteration. I feel that out of these three the two the he does best with is his talent for alliteration and rhyme definitely make the poem clear and catchy. For example in the poem he uses alliteration when he says, “And the silken sad uncertain rustling of each purple curtain thrilled me…” The constant “s” sound is an outstanding use of alliteration. His awesome use of rhyme is portrayed very well in this poem. For example in the very beginning of the poem it he mutters, “ Once upon a midnight dreary, while I pondered weak and weary…” This is an excellent show of rhyme. His old poems seem to have a good rhythm also he has very good meter this is the timing or measure between each word and creates a rhythmic pattern. These are the ways his poem produces good sound.
One of the things I think Poe does best at in his work is imagery. He uses many types of imagery to create an appeal to the senses. For example in the poem he writes, “ I distinctly remember a bleak December, and each separate dying ember wrought its ghost upon the floor.” In this quote you can picture a very upsetting December and how it would feel absolutely miserable if your loved one had died. He also gives words or phrases that help you distinctly picture sounds as opposed to mental images in his works. For example, when he says, “Sir or Madam, surely your forgiveness I implore; but the fact is I was napping and so faintly you came tapping, tapping at my chamber door.” When you read a quote like this your mind is driven to picture what it would sound like if someone was rapidly knocking on a door. These are just a few of the many ways that Poe’s work has good imagery.
Poe’s poems and stories have always given new ideas, but nothing changed my perspective like The Raven did. This poem gave me an understanding of his writing and how he used the misery and sorrow Poe was feeling at the time to write the poem. This poem helped me realize how I would be feeling at that point. This poem has driven me to believe that Poe was not crazy as everyone says, but I feel that he was simply grieving for the loss of his lover. Edgar Allen Poe was doing in this poem what anyone else would be doing if they lost a lover and this here has changed my entire perspective because of the fact that he was just like everyone else he was just simply different.
This poem is a very common work of Poe, but it is filled with not just strong words but strong emotions too. Poe has shown that people all have similar feelings but different ways to express them. He used very precise details to describe how he felt but how he mixed his emotions in with his writing simply blew my mind. This poem displayed excellent examples of sound, image, and perspective and this is why I chose to use this poem for my essay.

Research paragraph
In my research I found that more people favor the Navy over the Army. The people I chose to do my research with were ordinary people and helped me find out which was favored more. The first person, Ryan I talked to said, “I favor the navy because I like the marines, and the marines in the Navy work hand in hand.” The second person I talked to, Andrea said, “ I favor the army because of the fact that I can’t swim very well.” My last person that I asked, Eric said , “ I like the navy better because the S.E.A.L.S. are the most elite squads in the military.” This is how I was able to determine how the navy I preferred over the army.
